Personyze campaigns can run in a native app as well as on a website. The mobile SDKs report what the visitor does in the app, ask Personyze what to show them, render the answer (banners, recommendation widgets, A/B test variations), and deliver Personyze notifications.
In the panel, these campaigns are of the API & SDK Personalization type. Its setup step shows the install snippets with your account's API key already in them.
Android
The Android SDK 2.1 is written in Kotlin, for Android 7.0 and later:
implementation("com.personyze:personyze-android:2.1.0")
- Android SDK guide: install, personalize a screen, render actions, report events, notifications pushed through Firebase, and upgrading from 2.0 or 1.x.
- Android SDK reference: every class and method.
- Demo application: the SDK at work in a small app, push included.
The 1.x SDK (Java, PersonyzeTracker.inst) remains on the v1 branch of its GitHub repository, with its demo application on the v1 branch of the demo's.
iOS
The iOS SDK 2.0 is a Swift package, for iOS 15 and later:
.package(url: "https://github.com/personyze/personyze-ios-sdk", from: "2.0.0")
- iOS SDK guide: install, personalize a screen, render actions, report events, notifications pushed through Apple's push service, and upgrading from 1.x.
- Demo application: the SDK at work in a small app.
The 1.x SDK remains on the v1 branch of its GitHub repository, with its demo application on the v1 branch of the demo's.
Other platforms
For an app on another platform, or a framework the SDKs do not cover, talk to Personyze directly over HTTP: the server-side guide describes the endpoint the SDKs use, and the custom recommendations app guide walks through it end to end.
