No. The visual editor handles the majority of campaigns. Developers are only needed for custom integrations or advanced server-side logic.

One thing you asked the AI to do while building a campaign — generating an audience from a plain-English description, building or restyling a campaign’s design, or running an editing session in the Visual Editor. It has nothing to do with visitors on your site: a campaign the AI built can be shown to unlimited visitors without using any AI tasks, and visitor volume is counted separately as page views. Every plan includes a monthly allowance, and the remaining balance is shown before you run anything. Counts are approximate because usage is metered, so a long editing session can use more than one action’s worth.

The AI stops and offers you credits — it never runs up a bill you did not choose. You can add AI credits at any time in packs of $10, $25, $50 or $100. Credits never expire and are only spent once the monthly allowance is used up. Extra actions run from $0.50 on Free and Starter down to $0.34 on Enterprise, so higher plans include more AI per dollar.

You can also set the ceiling yourself. Spend caps exist at two levels — on an individual assistant and across the account — and the lower of the two is the one enforced. Turn on usage notices and you are emailed at 80% of the allowance, again when it runs out, and again if a cap is reached, so nobody finds out from an invoice.

No — the monthly allowance is exactly the same on annual and monthly billing. Choosing annual changes the price of the plan, not the amount of AI included. The allowance resets at the start of each billing cycle and unused actions do not roll over.

Three paid add-ons ride on any plan, the Free plan included: the AI Search & Chat Agent ($99/mo, counted in conversations — 50 a month on Free, up to 1,250 on Enterprise), Hosted Landing Pages ($49/mo, with 25,000 hosted page views included) and Audience Discovery ($49/mo, with a million page views a month included). None of them is billed unless you switch it on: all three switch on from the panel with a free trial, appear on the same invoice as your plan, and can be turned off at any time.
